In a Republic, actually
‘AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Friday repealed his traffic-clogging immigration order that backed up commercial trucks at the U.S.-Mexico border after a week of intensifying backlash and fears of deepening economic losses.

Pressure was building on Abbott to retreat as gridlock at the border worsened and frustration mounted. The American Trucking Assn. called the inspections “wholly flawed, redundant and adding considerable weight on an already strained supply chain.”

Abbott, who is up for reelection in November and has made the border his top issue, fully lifted the inspections after reaching agreements with neighboring Mexican states that he says outline new commitments to border security. The last one was signed Friday with the governor of Tamaulipas, who this week said the inspections were overzealous and created havoc.’

Reckless, irresponsible political theater.

If one of your GD loved ones overdoses, you'll understand.................You widget makers are so dumb
If one of YOUR GD loved one's overdoses, it is fully and wholly upon YOU, stupid fucktard. The alleged 'loved' one is you're responsibility and maybe you should do some kind of intervention before they die?

What an absolute waste of skin you are.

$240MM in food wasted.

So did Tater start to rebuild the wall or is reverse the only gear on Wheels's chair? Pandering POS. I knew he would cave to the Chamber of Commerce types.

Oh but he has sent about 120 "immigrants" to DC.....Who were promptly picked-up by relatives/friends mostly from here in Virginia.....They did seem thankful for the ride though.

Fuckin' texans are so retarded, they could have had West to run against Beto.

That Abbott is too smert for his own good.

There will be repurcussions. He is losing the business community with his antics.

Abbott . . . reaching agreements with neighboring Mexican states that he says outline new commitments to border security. Reckless, irresponsible political theater.
Quite the opposite. Unlike you democrats who don't change course no matter what, Abbott saw that:
  1. It was to his advantage to remove the restrictions now.
  2. His restrictions had in part, accomplished their intended goal. Out of them came a new agreement for Mexico to get more involved and proactive on their side! Brilliant.
Hardly political theater, much less irresponsible and reckless! This one man has accomplished more in a week than the entire Biddum Admin has gotten done in a YEAR.

:1peleas:

He can't even make a pact as it regards border security either. I guess if it's not on paper then it would be OK but there's nothing compelling the Mexicans he treated with hold up their end.
It's smoke to cover the colossal fuck up of what occurred.

He fucked with business, in Texas. That will get you run out on a rail here.
