Rep. Sylvester Turner, D-Texas, died Tuesday night at the age of 70, Fox News has learned.

Turner, who previously served as the mayor of Houston, Texas, was elected to replace the late Rep. Shiela Jackson Lee, who died in July of last year.

I understand that Abbott might be able to replace him.

Texas law says to run in a district you must live there for a year BEFORE election day, but nothing about being appointed.

Plus the law is very open to what qualifies as lives in the district.

From the looks of all the dem faces during Trump's speech I'm actually surprised more didn't die of heart attacks afterwards or even during. They were clearly in medical distress.
