The protests are protesting Tesla and Elon Musk. I imagine after this administration there will be a radical reduction in government contract to Musk entities.

Some criminals have attacked Tesla vehicles. That is separate. They should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. You lump them together because you have a bilateral world view and Orange is your Jesus and Musk is his Apostle.

These attacks are to achieve a political objective. Which is basically terrorism by definition.
