Their belief that burning, smashing windows and looting is fun? Or gets them free stuff and eases the pain they feeling like FAILURES in life?Sounds to me the actions of a bunch of cowards. If this is a good thing why the need to do it without letting people know?
The rioters, looters, murderers, pillagers are cowards and completely worthless.
They aren't the ones hiding behind closed doors. They are willing to stand up for their beliefs.........unlike these politicians.
Interesting....
What country before ever existed a century and half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Thomas Jefferson.
Nobody is talking here about denying the rights of anybody to peacefully protest the programs, polices, or actions of any gov't official such as a police officer on up to the President himself. But dude, that right does not include rioting, destruction of property, and violence against the police or anyone else. Or do you want to say that it does? It seems as though the Democratic Party thinks so, do you?
Trump called those who were peacefully protesting SOB's and called for them to be fired.
When that happens the founders understood that violence would be needed.
First of all, Trump is entitled to his opinion just like everyone else. Right or wrong, that does not entitle anybody to riot, vandalize, or try to injure someone else. Do you agree?
No. I agree with those who founded this country. When the king would not listen to their complaints what did they do?
I noticed that you dodged the original question, so I'll ask again: right to protest does not include rioting, destruction of property, and violence against the police or anyone else. Do you want to say that it does?
Those who threw tea into the harbor did not have the "right" to do that. We did not have the "right" to break off from England either.
When those in office refuse to address the grievances of the people they understood that would lead to violence. It in large part is why they enacted the 2nd Amendment. Are you saying that the founders didn't understand that people had to be armed to protect themselves from the government if need be?
The thing about the Founding Fathers was that they had no representation in the British gov't; i.e., they didn't have an alternative. All the rioting, violence, and destruction is being done by people who do have representation and can participate in the democratic process if they have a problem. The problem of police brutality is not a new one, but the voters continue to vote into office the same people and the same political party who aren't doing their jobs of getting rid of the bad cops. And that sure as hell isn't Trump's fault.
All Trump's fault? No. These protests started under Obama. One could argue even earlier than that.
" Trump called those who were peacefully protesting SOB's and called for them to be fired. "
I believe Trump was talking about Kaepernick and others who kneeled for the national anthem. As I said, he's entitled to his opinion but that does not excuse rioting. etc.
I disagree. We can also go back and note that it was rioting that finally got us out of Vietnam. It was the right thing to do.
If you want to compare your RIOTING and LOOTING to the founding fathers, I want you to LOOT your liquor and Nikes, like you already are doing... and then throw them into the harbor. Then we'll start listening to your desperate propaganda,, snowflake.
And "disagree" all you want about FACTS, and admit that you're uninformed... But you can't change FACTS!
He is COLON KRAPERneck sitting on the bench POUTING during the anthem, while Obama was President. Weeks before he came up with his EXCUSE for his temper tantrum at losing his starting job. And started all this.
Colin Kaepernick chose to remain seated during the national anthem
