They never will be as long as people think the government can fix the problem. That just means the government will fail, charities will fail, and no one will be better served, except the corrupt politicians.

It has worked. We don't have children starving in the streets or suffering from debilitating disease and unable to get the help they need.

Sure they have some growing to do, but when the countries' goals are to meet the minimum GDP requirements and stability to achieve international funding, they have found out that social safety nets don't increase revenues (in fact, they have the exact opposite effect).

Of course I have steadily made the point that is what you get when you rely on the government and corrupt politicians to accomplish what they cannot accomplish in the first place. I am not saying that it wouldn't be a wonderful idea, I am saying it isn't working and will never work.

Hillary Clinton has far, far more pluses than minuses- in my opinion.

Some don't care about the poor. That much is obvious. The way they see it is if they can't do anything for me, then I don't want to help them and just let them die for all I care. That is how many see the poor, just as they always have. "I've got mine . . . "
