I really like gospel music and I look old timey music, like Jimmy Rodgers and the Carter family and DeFord Bailey, a black guitarist from Tennessee, I believe.
Jimmy Rogers is good, so was the Carters. I like Bill Monroe and Doctor Ralph Stanley for the old stuff. Flatt and Scruggs were always great live, heard them dozens of times. I primarily listen to jazz and classical, Wynton Marsalis and his brother do both, and I listen to them the most.

Bob Wills was the real 'father of rock n roll', as Chuck Berry and many others used to say. My father was his accountant for a couple of years, when he tried to get the Crystal Springs Ballroom back up and running. Tried hard for two years, then had to let it go. Was a big deal in it's heydays; I used to play in the huge split level swimming pool in the back, no water in it but it had islands, water falls, fountains, and multiple pools coolest swimming pool I've ever seen since. Sad it closed and got torn down.
