KPRC 2 has learned that a special prosecutor has been named after after six cyclists were struck by a teenager driving pick-up truck in Waller County.

"KPRC 2 has learned that a special prosecutor has been named to a case involving a teen driver accused of hitting six cyclists in Waller County. KPRC 2 reported Sunday that half a dozen cyclists training for the Ironman were struck by a 16-year-old driving a pick-up truck. Over the weekend, KPRC 2 spoke to Chase Ferrell who was biking behind the cyclists and says the teen driver kept attempting to “roll coal” them. “A kid in a black truck attempted to ‘roll coal’ on us where they accelerate past blowing diesel exhaust on cyclist,” he said.

Rick DeToto is representing the 16-year-old driver and sent KPRC 2 the following statement: “The police did an investigation at the scene. This included speaking with eyewitnesses to the accident. After their investigation, they decided not to charge my client and did not even issue him a traffic ticket. Clearly, they determined a crime had not occurred." The cyclist suffered injuries to their shoulder, neck and back. Four were hospitalized and two of the cyclist had to be airlifted to nearby hospitals. Bike Houston and the attorneys representing the injured cyclist said there needs to be some sort of consequences.

This is ridiculous....obviously this kid was just having some fun and owning a bunch of soyboy cuck cyclists by blowing a little black smoke on them....yea, he accidentally ran them over but he didn't mean to...why can't these people relax and take a joke? The cops didn't think it was a big deal so why are we going thru all of this?? Haven't this kid suffered enough? His truck is damaged from hitting these folks..that is punishment enough...

I'll help you out since the article is written badly which is also a sign of manipulation....the kid past the cyclist assholes, and the cyclists ran into him I think is what happened. Because the cyclists were behind the truck---they are at fault for the hitting the back of another vehicle as it would be the case in a car accident in most if not all states.
