Ted Cruz: "Will Abolish IRS and Department of "Education"

Here's your precious Ed, dimocrap scum....

U.S. Students Slide In Global Ranking On Math Reading Science The Two-Way NPR

"In mathematics, 29 nations and other jurisdictions outperformed the United States by a statistically significant margin, up from 23 three years ago," reportsEducation Week. "In science, 22 education systems scored above the U.S. average, up from 18 in 2009."

dimocraps are the scum of the earth.

Fucking period.

U.S. education spending tops global list study shows - CBS News

The United States spent more than $11,000 per elementary student in 2010 and more than $12,000 per high school student. When researchers factored in the cost for programs after high school education such as college or vocational training, the United States spent $15,171 on each young person in the system — more than any other nation covered in the report.

That sum inched past some developed countries and far surpassed others. Switzerland's total spending per student was $14,922 while Mexico averaged $2,993 in 2010. The average OECD nation spent $9,313 per young person.

dimocraps are the scum of the earth. They're using our children as an excuse to rob taxpayers blind while producing the worst product in the civilized world at the highest cost.

But, they're dimocraps -- The scum of the earth.

Understand that, people, and everything else starts to make sense

"Abolish the IRS" is pandering to the rubes.

Instead of flinging out cheap catchphrases and exhibiting spasmotic movements when stumping, Cruz should put an actual tax plan on the table for everyone to read.

He should also put an actual education plan on the table.

And he'll replace IRS with what exactly? No tax revenue means no USA.
Cruz is being disingenuous when he says he would abolish the IRS. Even under the simplified tax scheme he envisions, there would need to be an enforcement agency.
There would be a need for tax department to collect taxes from Bussiness not individuals.

I agree... but the IRS has burgeoned out of control. We don't need anything that massive.

Make headlines over Cruz and ignore that Rand Paul has been advocating the very same things since he first ran for his Senate Seat.

There are dozens of Federal departments and bureaus that need to be closed.

The Big Government Authoritarians fear & loathe Cruz. And that's a good thing. Means he's onto something.

Meh... no mater what he or any conservative floats you and your leftwing ilk will shoot it down. Many good ideas have been put forth by conservatives on various subjects that always get shot down with partisan, leftwing hackery. The current state of affairs with the IRS, Medicaid, Medicare, the USDoE are all shining examples of leftwing failures... yet any alternative is laughed at.

Here's the thing. Ted Cruz is being extremely dishonest when he conveys the impression that it takes a "flat tax" to simplify taxes and "abolish the IRS".

He is also dishonest that a "flat tax" will guarantee your taxes will be simplified. It's a lie.

There are currently seven tax brackets, but even with that many you could fill out your taxes on a postcard.

What complicates the filing of taxes is not the number of tax brackets. What complicates taxes is the tens of thousands of exemptions, credits, and deductions.

You don't ever hear Ted Cruz say he would completely eliminate exemptions, credits, and deductions. And this means he would protect the favors industry that exchanges campaign cash for exemptions, credits and deductions for special interests.

Because even a "flat tax" will have exemptions, credits, and deductions unless they are specifically banned. You will still have to fill out a lot of forms to determine your eligibility for any of the thousands of exemptions, credits, or deductions.

And that means you will still need a massive IRS to handle the complexities of that system.

So don't be fooled by his bullshit that a "flat tax" will enable you to fill out your taxes on a postcard.

First mistake, call me "leftwing ilk". I am a conservative with a libertarian streak. If you actually read my posts in this topic, this should be blazingly obvious.

When Ted Cruz promises he would eliminate all tax expenditures in the tax code, then I will take him seriously about simplifying taxes.

Here are the current seven tax brackets:

So, if you are a single person who earned $100,000 you are taxed at 28 percent.

This could easily be done on a postcard. I just fit it into one sentence.

RW's are on board, even if Ted doesn't have it figured out.

As I have just demonstrated, even with seven tax brackets you can fit your tax filing onto a postcard if you wanted to.

It is all those deductions, exemptions, and credits which fuck everything up. THIS IS THE PART CRUZ DOES NOT EVER TALK ABOUT WHAT HE WOULD DO.

This is why Ted Cruz needs to put his actual tax plan on the table for people to read.

The retards hear "Abolish the IRS" and are satisfied. Because they are retards.

Value Added Tax.

Simple - taxes paid on goods and services. Local, state and federal get their share as things are purchased.

Those who buy more pay more.

And keep basic necessities out of the equation.

"And keep basic necessities out of the equation" is always the edge of the wedge that eventually leads to tens of thousands of exemptions, credits, and deductions.

The favors industry absolutely depends on politicians being granted the power to place exemptions, credits, and deductions in the tax code.

I want candidates who promise to TAKE POWER AWAY from politicians.

Money follows power. And those who have power, sell it. It is time to wake up to this fact, and end it the only way it can be ended. Take power away.

Cruz hones pitch as he visits rural New Hampshire voters

He is promising to abolish the Internal Revenue Service and scrap the Education Department. He vows to curtail federal regulators, likening to locusts that deserve to be killed. And his standard campaign-style speech includes a zinger about the Second Amendment."

I know he is just a grandstanding demagogue but it is still really nice to make skylar, paintmyhouse and other welfare parasites ' s asshole pucker.

.
How will the children learn "Green Eggs and Ham" then?

Not sure how he plans on actually doing that... but I'm on board.

He can't do it. Only the Congress can do it. That is the point. He can't and he knows he can't, so he is lying through his teeth.

The IRS enforces the tax code. It doesn't write the code. The House does that. The republican controlled House.
