Why anyone pays attention to awards shows is beyond me to be honest.

Actors, singers, etc. They all make fortunes for their performances, they are catered to, fans worship them, they are on magazines and talk shows, they are famous, travel the world and treated essentially like small gods.

But even after all of that they need to have awards shows where they get to be on national tv and given trophies and recognition on top of what they already have.

And I honestly don't understand why people care so much about them getting awards. If you like a singer isn't it enough to just enjoy that?

Awards shows are just a big scam to make more money from advertisers and nothing else. It isn't about recognizing talents, not that they don't get enough recognition to begin with along with their millions of dollars.
