I got this spiffy watch for Christmas. The watch is a modern information center like that screen I have in my car. It is on my wrist right now monitoring my vital signs and keeping track of all kinds of things that are beyond my pay grade. I got a sports watch for my birthday in 1998, and I never learned how to use that. I would press buttons on it and get everything but what time it was because I never figured out how to get to that mode. Why do people keep giving me this stuff?

My heart rate is 55bpm. Woopdidoo! My blood oxygen level is 99%. Yahoo! Bp is 118/63. Check. Apparently I am not working very hard to sit here and share my thoughts. I know how many steps I took after I got out of bed today. I was never privy to this information before but now I am preoccupied with respiration and body temperature. How the hell did I survive before this?

I can do experiments with this wonderful technology. For instance, if I think about the breakfast my wife is making, my blood pressure rises. If I dream of two eggs over easy and three strips of bacon could I have a stroke? I hope not! I am going have that watch cranking out statistics as I swallow the food. I have a feeling my numbers are going normalize with the first time I belch. I suspected that eating food was good for me before these scientific devices but now I can confirm it.

It is good to be a modern human I guess.

60 Years ago they would have called you a freakazoid lol. Now you're simply a "modern man". :). I need a watch that can heal. :(

Being a human on planet earth has always been risky business. :omg:
