and you should know some of these nasty foreign gangs sign up mere school aged kids

Thankfully Homan just announced none of these places are immune from ICE, which means none of the folks working in them should be placed in the bad position of hiding them from ICE

Anyone who has a problem with that is aiding and abetting a criminal

From here on, If any of them want sanctuary, they could have apply and go through a legal port of entry

Lots of chatter about "ICE raids" in schools. Apparently people think ICE will cuff a 6 yo and drag them away; that won't happen, and if it does, I'm opposed. ICE might wait at the school or bus stop for the parents, though.

Meanwhile, school officials think schools are islands of lawlessness where they have the right to stop the govt from doing its job.

While I have compassion for individual children of illegals, common sense dictates that these students often take MORE resources than American children. Their parents committed a crime coming here illegally. If a student is deported with their parents, that will be individually unfortunate but, in the end, just.

No one is hiding in schools and churches, but people are going about their lives going to school and going to church.

We already have 1.4 million people with orders of removal against them. Let's start with them before we start hassling people in schools and churches.

Here's the thing. The government already has a list of 1.4 million immigrants who have deportation orders. They don't need to look in schools or hospitals for them. They don't need to go into a store and detain a US Veteran because he was brown-skinned and didn't have ID on him. They could start by finding those people and sending them out.

The purpose of raiding schools and churches is to terrify people, hoping they'll leave on their own.

I've been in the Barrio lots of times. I have never had a problem. The bounty hunters would be more likely to go to schools or churches. But, where they are really needed is at the border. Find those invaders in the desert.
