Fascism, not semi-fascism.

It's what they all voted for in Ireland and around the woke world, like Germans who voted for Nazis back in the day.

Make no mistake, democracy is how the National Socialists came to power.

And then there is the true story.

According to Irish media, which quoted Justice Michael Quinn, Burke was placed on paid administrative leave from Wilson’s Hospital School, County Westmeath, on Aug. 22, following an alleged dispute over the use of pronouns for a transgender student.

The suspension was pending the conclusion of a disciplinary process (here , here, here and here ).

The school’s Board of Management (BoM) later secured a temporary High Court order that prevented Burke from attending the school premises or teaching classes after he was said to not be adhering to the terms of his suspension.

On Sept. 5, Burke was found guilty of contempt of court for continuing to attend the school premises.

Wow, you mean the OP lied? That never happens. LOL.

I would not say he lied, he was just too lazy or stupid to see if The Blaze lied. It would never occur to him that such a thing could happen.

Yes, I saw that in the op. He tried to go do his job, earning a living and he was arrested for it. Becasue since he did not bow to the demands of you lefties he was not allowed to work his job.

And you think that is a good thing?

Whether he should have been placed on paid leave or not is a good discussion to have.

But he was not jailed for using the wrong pronoun, he was jailed for disobeying a court order. If your employer tells you to stay away for a while (and are paying you anyhow) then you are not allowed to go to work, it is that simple. He is lucky he was not charged with trespassing.

Did the EMPLOYER tell him to stay away, or just the judge?

The EMPLOYER, and after he did not stay away they got a court order telling him to. He still did not. Now he is in jail. Play stupid games, this is what you get

Wow. Those people are really, really vile. Imagine being the type of person who would WANT to see someone lose their job and go to jail for no reason.

Wow, that was the most impressive spin I have seen in ages! Well fucking done!

So let's get this straight.

The man was fired from his job from a PRIVATE RELIGIOUS SCHOOL for not respecting a student's wish to be addressed by certain pronouns.
The man then trespassed on school property after he had been fired and got arrested.

Whew. Good thing.

Denied his profession and then perp-walked/jailed for that BS?

Looks like the IRA has some work to do.

He was jailed for ignoring his employer telling him to stay off their property till they finished his case. He ignored them so they got a court order, which he ignored. He is lucky he was not charged with trespassing.

He was not fired, he was on PAID leave while they looked into the matter. He was told to stay away while they looked into it, which is pretty much SOP, and he refused.

The Board did not follow correct procedures. IF they have mislead a Court should they be jailed for Perjury?

"which is pretty much SOP" no; he was NOT accused of a relevant impropriety. The Board was WRONG to give him such an instruction. I will be interested to see if The Board is charged with Vexatious litigation.

I'm pretty sure he's fired now. They also don't say if this case happened in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland...

That's a matter for a civil court. Once this guy started tresspassing on school property, he crossed several lines.
