The retribution experienced by those who spoke against kirk's rhetoric is certainly trump cult related. Turning Point USA, the organization Kirk co-founded and ran, compiled “Professor Watchlists” that targeted faculty with left-leaning views. That shows how uninterested he was in free speech, regardless of what might be written on a poster.

Not if the Guevara quote was partisan, political, ideologically controversial. That has no place in the classroom.

But if it were a quote that inspires or encourages critical/creative thinking in a non-indoctrinational way, regardless of who said it, yes, I would object to it being taken down.

If the Charlie Kirk quote complimented Trump or the Republicans or specifically the MAGA agenda, I would see that as inappropriate for the classroom. The quote the teacher was required to move was nothing like that though and, if Guevara had said it, I'm sure it would still be on the wall of that classroom.
