Taxes on guns

Don't you guys get it yet?

The power to TAX is the power to REPRESS BEHAVIORS.

I EXPECT that this will be the way that the government will deny most people their 2nd Amendment rights without violating the constitution.

Now we can make the argument that that is really a violation of the spirit of the constiution and I would agree with that argument entirely.

But what you or I think matters not one bit.

It's what the SCOTUS decides that will either make or break this policy to TAX guns.

No, it's up to US. WE hold the power and it is WE who should be telling our elected representatives: "Don't you dare vote for any more taxation to change people's behavior or you'll become unemployed next election."

We are a FREE PEOPLE and if we don't stand up for our own right to chose the way we live, we'll become people who are NOT free, but slaves to our "betters" who know more about what we want or need than we do.
