Contrived reality or a contrived view of reality, interesting that we can twist things to soften the news or turn it around. Editing reality to portray the image we want believed. The wingnuts have done a marvelous job of that. Say some of the key words, taxes, welfare, government, liberal and you know how they will react or you can spin it easily to convey your point. Government can't do anything right yet somehow they got to the moon. What contradictions all this spin holds, but how many have the time or knowledge to separate the spin from the real.

Our government didn't go to the Moon. They just spent trillions of tax dollars funding those who did. Then there's the fact that our current government is a far cry from what our government is supposed to and used to be.
