Actually, I've been saying the same thing for many months.

In the past, I did have a different view on the whole M.E situation, I was ALWAYS very pro-Israel and in debates I said the same exact things that the Israel supporters here say. I'm not anti-Israel now, I just know now that there's more to all this than meets the eye. And I know that governments can have corrupt elements, just like in the US, there are a few good people in government but also corrupt people who believe the ends justify the means, when it comes to achieving certain agendas. I hope that answered your question.

I still have more to learn. But TBH, for me it wasn't the history that made me realize I need to re-think my position. (I need to look into the history more.) It actually had to do with the more recent stuff. The more I dug into it, the more I realized that the reality seems to be a very different story than the MSM version of events.

And I don't want to get into the drama again, but I do have to say..... I find it incredibly odd and ignorant that some people are so aghast that I said governments (in general) can have corrupt elements. I mean, how is that not true?

The way some people think around here, it's as if Israel can literally do no wrong. It's as if they are always, always always as pure as the driven snow... and anyone who even remotely suggests otherwise is a horrible evil person who should be reviled by all humanity.

I realized many years ago that they don't call it "programming" for nothing. I even wrote a blog post years ago, about kicking TV to the curb.
