Today I wrote the jewish community in Salzburg Austria I want to visit a Synagogue in Salzburg, Salzburg is comfortably reachable within one hour with train, vienna would be too far away. I wrote the jewish community in salzburg and they said i need a appointment because its only possible in the context of a guide tour, you cannot visit just like that everyday

Will you wear one of your fascist costumes?

No but I want to wear a kippa and jewish symbols
ESay may be right on that but I really can't see them being upset or anything if they're worn out of respect. Maybe explain that in advance.

Greg

Of course I will do it out of respect. I will politely and respectfully ask them if they have a kippa or jewish religious symbols for me. I know in the church they do have books, crosses, symbols, maybe they have jewish symbols in the synagogue?

that's really odd and if you ask them for you to become a jew - what will they say.

- is it in your opinion their decision to allow for you to chose judaism.

Is it respectful to pretend you're Jewish when you're not?

Mark my words .
This appalling poor judgement will come back to haunt you within months .
Even now supporting a community which practices Apartheid and Genocide is disgusting .
I do not support genocide though and im for peace in the middle east i do not hate arabs palestinians or muslims a half a year ago i visited a mosque too and showed my respect you seem to generalise a whole religion and people namely all jews. How do you even know what type of jews the ones in Salzburg are if they are liberal pro palestine or anti palestine right wing? I do not know either myself i just know its a Synagoge

Jews are connected to the ravings of their insane leader and his cronies .
Sure , many do not approve which is why the country is in turmoil .
But for an outsider to want o have dealings of any sort with a nation that deliberately is murdering women and children is beyond horrible .

You have enough on your plate --- finding a job and losing weight .

That sounds racist of you like could be said about many other nations as well every nation in a war such as serbs russians americans or even you english

Yeah, well, you can do that without dressing up as a Jewish person.
I could, but i want to dress up as jewish person, because i like it, why would it be offensive? Thats some modern nonsense that dressing up something you are not is offensive, back when i was 15 years old i practiced karate and my karate trainer dressed as shaolin monk, had that hair cut and such, he was very into japanese culture and martial arts culture. Nowadays that would be "offensive".

Imagine someone turned up to a gypsy camp and tried to dress like a gypsy, you might find it a little different then.
