President executes. The Legislature budgets. Trump cannot do the spending himself. He has to execute the will of the legilsatrue. It’s basic American governing. Visit us here in the US and you’ll get the hang of it.You cannot articulate why they ruled that way.
It is one thing to say that the Present dent cannot refuse to pay contractors for already completed services. That much I agree with, in fact.
It’s another thing to contend that the President has an obligation to further spend allocated funds for matters not yet performed.
Thankfully, the matter is still under litigation and the final result isn’t written in stone.
The SCOTUS decision is actually far more circumscribed than folks like our dim OP pretend.
The litigation will continue in that very case.
Realistically, all it says is that the President may not refuse to pay for completed services which had been contracted-for.
A lot of libtard huffing and puffing over something not particularly momentous.
If they couldn't misrepresent and lie, they'd have nothing to say.Wrong.
What they said is the District judge has to be specific on what the admin needs to pay out on and give the admin time to do it.
TRO's only affect things that if not performed OR performed have an irreparable harm on the parties impacted.
So the people suing have to go to the judge now, say they are being harmed, the admin can counter, and the judge has to direct on specific instances now.
So get ready for "Biden judge orders admin to pay for Guatemalan transgender clinic funding."
Look at the democrats high speed rail scam in California. Democrats spend over 100 billion and no train.Cant we just let the fraud roll on until we're all impoverished..... Opah got 250 million from the govt ...pray tell why
Wrong again, croc.President executes. The Legislature budgets. Trump cannot do the spending himself. He has to execute the will of the legilsatrue. It’s basic American governing. Visit us here in the US and you’ll get the hang of it.
Dupe....If only there wasn't already a six page thread.SCOTUS by a 5-4 count has ordered USAID funds be dispersed until the settlement of all suits.
I’m happy to see that two of the conservative side agree with following the rule of law.
Supreme Court rules on nearly $2 billion in USAID payments paused by Trump | Fox News
the president can’t stop sending out social security checks dummy.Wrong again, croc.
The legislature can and does authorize spending. The President may then write the checks. But one of the numerous points you libturds always choose to ignore is that legislative authority to spend is NOT always a command to spend.
the president can’t stop sending out social security checks dummy.
You Democrats suck.
You’re too stupid to breathe.Fake news. But what do you expect out of you Democrats.
Hey, retard. Nobody said he could. In fact, your comment isn’t even responsive to anything I have ever said.the president can’t stop sending out social security checks dummy.
There is no difference. A budget is passed as law, its called an appropriations bill. The Constitution then delegates to the president the task of spending approved funds in the Take Care Clause, which requires the chief executive “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.”None of the things being reviewed and held up are entitlement spending sent directly to US citizens or green card holders.
See above dummy.Hey, retard. Nobody said he could. In fact, your comment isn’t even responsive to anything I have ever said.
Keep swinging, croc. Keep missing.

Didn’t come up. Why is that? Is there an ambush cabal?Dupe....If only there wasn't already a six page thread.
The second time the court has refused to step in to help Trump.
Congress passed it, it was signed, Trump can't just pretend he can end it.
