Support for Capitalism at a new low

Never in history has Socialism ever worked. Never
They always move the goal posts saying that it was not really socialism.

But the hell of the truth is, there is no despot in history that gives a damn about the tenants of socialism. The only reason they are drawn towards it is that the message of taking from the poor and giving to the rich always is a best seller, and for socialism to have even a chance of working the state needs complete control over your entire existence.

Those aren't the homes that first time buyers are typically looking at.

Exactly and anyone involved in economics knows this. Hence why the OP is likely a fraud

Mac, who started this thread, is a Left winger but is ashamed of the movement, mostly due to many lunatic positions like not knowing what a woman is.

So, he tries to repackage it in other ways, but make no mistake, Mac is all about centralized parental government that has been sold in a myriad of nightmarish oppressive regimes throughout history.

He now wants the government to take over the economy in every conceivable fashion to make it "fair".

Support for my Florida Gators are at a new low for the same reason. They are losing. Just like the US is losing under capitalism. The reason for both is coaching. The US economy is undisciplined. The rules are being made by those who benefit from the rules and any attempt to make things more fair for the working class is branded as socialism by opponents and killed. Its a perfect destruction of a once great football team and a once great American economy through the lack of discipline to what made them great.

Well, this is absolutely no surprise. Support for Capitalism -- by far the most dynamic engine of growth, prosperity and freedom -- is shrinking.

This is what happens when ANY system is perverted and misapplied. In the case of Capitalism, misapplication will INVARIABLY end up creating massive wealth disparity and dead ends for the lower classes.

Many who claim to be Capitalists, for example, have been convinced that any government involvement in the economy, such as regulation, is the bane of capitalism. The reality is that proper and efficient regulation is a CRITICAL COMPONENT of Capitalism.

The Meltdown of 2008 -- from which we are STILL experiencing the effects -- was a prime example. First Clinton repealed Glass Steagall and opened the doors to the derivatives that damn near killed us. Then Alan Greenspan publicly refused to regulate those same derivatives that damn near killed us.

And now it looks like we're going down the same ******* road. Is it any wonder that Americans are so disgusted with this version of Capitalism that a shitty system like Socialism is actually attractive to them?

Image of Capitalism Slips to 54% in U.S. -- Perceptions of socialism remain steady at 39% positive
more lies more lies and more lies. Repeat the lies until everyone believes the lie. Look at you!!!

As with most of our problems, this is entirely a self-inflicted wound.

did inflation reach 9.1% under Xiden? What is it today?

A part of the problem with the growth of support for socialism and communism is that teachers and professors in our nation's educational system have been hired that hold those views and indoctrinate the students with them. If they get fed the lying garbage throughout their entire time from K-12 to colleges and universities, you end up with former students being convinced that the horror of communism and socialism is not just viable but a great idea.
Replace communist and socialist teachers and professors. On the basic level, they are committing sedition.

AI Overview

In October 2008, during House testimony, former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan admitted he had made a "mistake" by not anticipating the failure of financial self-regulation, calling it a "flaw" in his worldview that free markets would always police themselves through enlightened self-interest.

Ooops. But hey, no biggie, it only almost caused the global economy to go in to a depression.

Hitler heavily taxed the top 4% of the German people and drove up the spending to the point that he forbade that German government to pass a budget so as not to draw attention to it. The people loved it!!

Then he lavished upon the people a higher standard of living that any country in the world and the rest of the loot he used for the military. For you see, Hitler was terrified that the people would rise up during the war like they did during WW1 due to the lower living standards.

If it were not for the war and Jew thingy, would he have gone down as one of the greatest men in history in your eyes? In fact, the economist John Maynard Keyes, who was FDR's right-hand man, praised Hitler for his economic policy and stated that it was necessary for Hitler to have an authoritarian government to properly implement his economic policies, and lamented that the US could not duplicate it do to its freedoms. Of course, he praised him before the Jew and war thingy.

Then again, the Left also hates Jews and wants nonstop war in places like the Ukraine, but that does not make them Nazis............I think.

Hitler did not want to take over industry because he recognized they can do a better job because they are the experts in their field. Hitler knew he just needed control over them, which he had.

Yep. Ol' Alan admitted it to Congress.

CLTC Chairwoman Brooksley Borne had been BEGGING him to regulate the CMOs and CDOs that put us literally hours from disaster, and he refused. Free markets! Free markets!

"Oopsie", he would later say to that.

You must have understood from your linked article that capitalism, while losing a bit of popularity, probably because of Biden, is still strongly preferred to socialism, right? I mean, come on, it's in the title for ***** sake. While America's state capitalism is not perfect by any means and pretty much sucks, we're not ever going down the socialist road with you neo-leftist democraps who act very suspiciously like Mussolini did in Italy.

15th post
And the macroeconomically ignorant Trumpsters weigh in.

You just don't like you're being exposed as an economic illiterate.

But that was patently obvious long long ago. Instead you switch gears to "Trumpsters" further revealing yourself
