The power of douchebaggery is anyone's ability to write this sentence

Superdelegates are just another method the party apparatus has to control the outcome of elections.

And does it matter? Democracy doesn't exist anyway in the US, and people don't complain about it most of he time.

How do you feel about a brokered convention for Republicans?

There's been entirely too much talk about how people feel instead of what they think.....all part of the Trump phenomenon.

Nope, people know that something is very wrong and by allowing Wall Street and the banking oligarchs to pick our candidates that nothing has the possibility of changing. People have every right and reason to be thoroughly pissed. The original 13th amendment did not allow lawyers to run for public office because oddly enough, it is a title of nobility and congress is full of these thieving shysters.

Ok, then what do you THINK about it?

I think it depends on the numbers. Republicans don't have super delegates like the Democrats do, so in theory there should be less manipulation of the results by party leadership. But if Trump doesn't get the required number of delegates to automatically make him the candidate, anything can happen. We can assume back room deals are being made right now.

My point is that both parties have a back door approach to making sure THEY get to determine who their nominees are if they don't like the people's choice.
