Firstly the High Court rejected it bid to withhold evidence from an
enquiry it set up. Why they took this to court is baffling. The terms of referenr for the enquiry were wide ranging and Heather Hallett is not the sort of person to mess with.

Now our COVID enquiry will have access to all govt records. The results are likely to be damaging to the govt and also to Sunak personally.

In other news a former govt minister has been banned from the commons for 8 weeks after he got drunk and groped 2 individuals at a tory club.. This is likely to lead to a by election in his Tamworth constituency. It will be the fourth by election this summer that has been triggered by govt misdeeds. Pincher was the fellow who brought down Johnson a year go. Johnson apppointed him knowing that he was a perv and then dnied it.

Next monday the Commons will debate a report into 7 yory MPs and 3 tory peers who tried to intimidate fellow MPs who were investigating the lies of Johnson
