Now what gets really weird is what happens at the poles. At either pole, you would only see one sunrise and one sunset per year. At the equinox, the sun would be on the horizon. After the March equinox if you are on the North Pole, or after the June equinox if you are on the South Pole, you would just see the sun circling around the sky, slowly spiraling upward, until the next Solstice, and which point, the Sun would begin slowly spiraling downward. At the next equinox, the Sun would again be on the horizon, setting, after which you would not see it until half a year later, at the next equinox, when it would rise again.
