Yes, I've read quite a lot of history. I don't think anyone is being "hit" and nobody is "removing" history. We have plenty of museums and history books in this country. I have always thought that it was a mistake, and an insult, to all Americans who had to work hard, and sometimes die, to secure the right to vote for every American. The vote is the cornerstone of the Republic, or "democracy" as many refer to it. But our history books when I was in school made no mention of the subject and the heroes who fought so hard for it. American history includes everyone, not just a narrow ideological group. The statutes of members of this group should not hold a place of honor in the city center. They should be museums.
