Stupid Cell Phone

Why is it so FRICKEN hard to get a cell phone with no extras?
My work requires me to have (if I bring it to work) a cell with
no camera, no IR, and no USB connection. My cell has become my
only means of contact in most cases, I dare not leave it at home.
I've emailed my provider MANY times and asked them to keep
some phones on the market that I can actually use. No luck.
Any suggestions???

But it's a small bill.
I keep my phone line busy all day. I got a pager (before a cell) so family could reach me.
I think it was $70 for a year. Cheap....I bet it's less now.

Look for an older, used cell phone perhaps. Maybe e-bay?

Ask some friends if they have old phones lying around that you could reactivate.
