I just finished reading Talmud For Dummies, 2025 by Arthur Kurzweil. He writes like antisemitism has been around for centuries at least. After reading it and other references, I can understand why.

Reading the Torah, parts of Genesis and Deuteronomy, it seems a central tenet is that Jews are superior to others (God's Chosen People sophistry), and therefore Gentiles are inferior to them. That is an arrogant and unfriendly position to hold.

Thats not what chosen mean. It means God gave the law to the Jews to give to all mankind. You were correct in reading a book for dummies

Yesterday I saw a pickup truck with a bumper sticker. Black with white lettering, ARREST Netanyahu. Since he is not a semite, I guess the message is not anti-semitic.
