"Antisemitism is today the common denominator of all extremists: the extreme right, the extreme left, and extremist Islamists. They hate each other on almost all issues, but in their hatred of Jews, they are united—and they even collaborate on it. What particularly alarms me is academic antisemitism. I am less concerned about incited students than about the professors who incite them. For years, pseudo-scientific theories have been constructed at Western universities that call for the delegitimization and destruction of Israel. This is not political discourse; this is antisemitism. Many university administrations are failing morally here by hiding behind 'freedom of speech.'"
