Stimulus checks a go. Keep YOUR Money!!!

If I get a stimulus check I'm buying another gun with it.

I've already bought several, all unregistered and all perfectly legal...

That's where I think congress made a mistake. Apparently if you make over $75,000 a year, you don't get a stimulus check. It should be that if you make over $25,000 a year, or are unemployed due to the coronavirus, you shouldn't get a stimulus check. So that the money isn't put to such a frivolous use. But people who are better off than most would squeal like a stuck pig if that happened. And you assholes bitch about "deadbeats." What a joke.

Fuck off, dipshit.

Your comment about how those who are unemployed due to the pandemic shouldn't get a stimulus check is retarded. Those are the exact people the stimulus is designed to help.

You don't get a vote in how I spend my money, so go fuck yourself, Zippy...

Don't just hand the money over to your landlord or whoever else you may owe money to. If such people ask you if you got one, tell them you didn't. There is no shame in lying to assholes.

Why does being a landlord automatically make someone an asshole?

They are doing it with tax payer dollars. Soon, they will run out of other people's money!

When you're a massive, habitual deadbeat, everybody who you owe money to must be an asshole.

It is STIMULUS MONEY! You are supposed to SPEND IT! Spend in on American stuff (or services)!

Parenthetically I will say that I think this money should be a larger amount, and it should be means-tested. People LIKE ME should NOT GET THIS MONEY!!! I'm on Social Security for Christ sake! I'm already getting government money!

But I will take it and spend it. Fuck me very much.

I agree. People have personal needs. Such as food and clothing. The $600 dollar pittance they are going to receive shouldn't be thrown away on those they owe money to. Through no fault of their own. Next, there are people on Social Security who are not well off by any means. Many live in section 8 housing. Which is about as close to living in a dog house as you can get in this country. (So far) If you feel guilty about getting the money, give it to charity. Or at least some of it.
Damn nice dog houses if you were to ask me.

Yeah, nice dog houses. For a dog! My brother lives in one of those high rise section 8 apartment buildings. There is hardly room to swing a dead cat around your head. A kitchenette, very little storage, walls paper thin, people who work in the building are free to enter your apartment any time they want, (maybe to spit into your food while you're gone if they have some sort of gripe with you) etc. etc. etc. Also, from what I hear, you are no longer even allowed to smoke in your own damned apartment! It is as about as close to living in a fucking jail as you can get.

Admittedly, I didn't phrase that very well. No need to go getting all nasty about it. What I meant to say is that if you are unemployed due to the coronavirus, you SHOULD get a stimulus check.

That is a very short statement requiring a very LONG answer. How many reasons would satisfy you.

Soon or later, we are going to run out of the other peoples money!

What money. Most people don't have money. Our currency is a fiat currency. It's value is in wishful thinking and fairy dust. Also, if due debts were called in, actual wallpaper would have more value than our dollars. As I was telling somebody else, before the coronavirus even hit, our national debt was around 19 trillion dollars. (And rising all the time) We also had around 61 trillion dollars worth of unfunded obligations. And I wouldn't care to try and split the hair in the difference between a debt and an obligation.

Figuring it out once, all that debt came out to every man, woman, child and fetus in the U.S. owing around $250,000 dollars. There are those who like to say of the jobs that the U.S. sent over seas aren't ever coming back. Which is a lie. A truth that you can take to the bank is that our debt is so large that there is no way in hell it would ever get paid off. What we need to do is dump the dollar and start over. Tell all the people we owe money to to get bent. We also HAVE TO replace "free trade" with fair trade. In short, become National Socialists. We need to find Hitler's remains and reanimate him. Then put him in charge.

It is not guaranteed in the Bill of Rights nor the Constitution that anyone will be provided housing with help from the government. It is by the good graces of the American public that God put in the hearts that enough people support providing help for those who need it. That doesn't mean you get a large spacious condo.

Since you are so unhappy about hud housing perhaps you should start building or buying something better that you can rent on the program to a section 8 renter.

A crippled guy I used to take grocery shopping when he needed help lived in one of those one person spec section 8 units. You'll have to feed someone else full of chit as I ain't buying.

Are you bucking for more public money for the people like Tom Steyer and his goons?

You know, at one time, back when the things you mentioned were created, people lived in log or sod cabins. They also used horses and sailing ships to get around. But as our technology gave us the ability to do MUCH more, don't you think it is a good idea to spread that around some? Especially to the elderly or other people in Social Security? Next, the apartment my brother lives in is FAR from a spacious condo. Instead of something like 300 square feet, how about something like 600 square feet. Though from what I hear, in New York City, you have to pay up the ass in rent for even a tiny 300 square foot apartment. But as far as I'm concerned, that's just because they aren't doing things right there.

Next, I wish I had a few billion dollars to spare. I would build buildings for section 8 housing all over the place. I would try to find jesuit priests or something to run the place for the same pay that a priest usually gets. And I would charge people there absolutely nothing to live in them. I would make it a charity. As it is, my brother doesn't even have cable TV and obviously internet access. Which many people would consider to be a staple of existence these days. Why? Because it costs more than his rent does!

As for what you ain't buying, you tell me something I said that you think isn't true. As for more public money, there should be far more public and private money. The minimum wage should be $50.00 an hour everywhere. You might also want to consider what FDR had to say.

Also, if due debts were called in

Called in? How can my mortgage be called in?
Or Treasury bills? Or any debt?

Be specific.

our national debt was around 19 trillion dollars. (And rising all the time) We also had around 61 trillion dollars worth of unfunded obligations.

Ok. $80 trillion.

Figuring it out once, all that debt came out to every man, woman, child and fetus in the U.S. owing around $250,000 dollars.

$80 trillion divided by 320,000,000.

Now let's see the asset side of the balance sheet.

What we need to do is dump the dollar and start over. Tell all the people we owe money to to get bent.

Spoken like someone with debts and no assets.

Yeah but if everyone got that minimum wage at $50.00 an hour Its suggesting they could pay their fair share of that $250,000.00, No?

**sarcasm intended**
