That FNC didn't say that group got the money? They said theatre, then their headline (whatever that thing is called) said otherwise while she spoke. If you google this, you'll see that I was right too, in that their listeners heard them to be saying the NEA is directly funding these particular films/performances.

Oh please. There is NOTHING there not work-safe. The photo stream has ONE shot that show a man and woman dancing and although they are naked, nothing shows. NOTHING. You see more that that on TV. And there are a ton of shots of performances at the theatre; that is the only one that shows nudity and even that one doesn't show anything.

Thing is - no shocker here - what the Fox report apoplectically spews is simply not true, except in the most convoluted sense. See, it says right under the alarmed-looking blonde, "Stimulus Bills Go to Fund Pornography." And then "NEA Funding Erotic Film and Stage Show." So the clear implication is that the NEA or Obama or Nancy Pelosi or Satan or somebody is regularly sending a nice big check my way, right?

Anyway, I'd hate for a delightful enterprise like CounterPULSE to suffer merely because they rent space to us four or five nights a year, so I'll talk to them tomorrow before I do anything along the lines of fighting back.
