Steward Rhodes charged with seditious conspiracy

I think that it's very sad that the government is falling to these seditious conspiracy charges but, for those who engaged in violence and force, the definition of the crime fits. No weapons were required in order to use force. Those who broke through doors and windows used force. Those who intimidated in mass used force.

Many of those who listened to the FBI agents to enter the Capitol used force; many others did not as they were invited in by the police or Congress members.

Those who followed Trump, though, and went to DC to voice their displeasure peacefully and patriotically, outside, did not use force and should not be charged.

chris miller was in charge of the NG & delegated them to traffic duty.

donny never bothered with the NG & it ended up being pence who called them in after the seize.

charly flynn is up to his brass in this coup as is his brother

damn are you in for a big surprize!
'Reasonable doubt'

Apples and oranges yes, but the results still fall under the illegal acts of disruptive activities that hinder the operations of government whether it be held up by lying, scheming, banging on door's, mega phones, hollering, and other such nonsense in the attempts to hinder or stop the process of government for the purpose of rebellion in which has no basis in truth when doing so.
Key phrase in the statue is "by force" There was no force in the kavanaugh protests. No one broke into the Capitol. No one broke into the Supreme Court. There was no guns or other weapons, no property damage, no one was seriously injured and there were no deaths. There was no real delay in Kavanugh hearings. McConnell called a recess for lunch.

On Jan 6, the confirmation was delayed 8 hours, due to insurgents entering the Capitol by force banishing weapons, terrorizing guards and congressmen resulting in over a hundred injuries and 3 deaths.

Laura and I are watching the scenes of mayhem unfolding at the seat of our Nation’s government in disbelief and dismay. It is a sickening and heartbreaking sight. This is how election results are disputed in a banana republic – not our democratic republic. I am appalled by the reckless behavior of some political leaders since the election and by the lack of respect shown today for our institutions, our traditions, and our law enforcement. The violent assault on the Capitol – and disruption of a Constitutionally-mandated meeting of Congress – was undertaken by people whose passions have been inflamed by falsehoods and false hopes. Insurrection could do grave damage to our Nation and reputation. In the United States of America, it is the fundamental responsibility of every patriotic citizen to support the rule of law. To those who are disappointed in the results of the election: Our country is more important than the politics of the moment. Let the officials elected by the people fulfill their duties and represent our voices in peace and safety. May God continue to bless the United States of America.

George Bush

Jan 6th was an attack on the Constitution. Many have sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution.

Many were arrested during Kavanaugh. So laws were broken just like they were Jan 6th. Breaking the law is breaking the law.

In some cases, different laws were broken. On 1/6, some committed seditious conspiracy. No one did that during the Kavanaugh hearings.

Last I read, they were accused. Still broke the law, you know, as Kavanaugh protesters did.

The law is the law.
And not all crimes are the same. Some are about protesting while some others are about sedition.
