Then tells the citizens that the drinking water is ok to drink then tells them to hang in there with his decisions.

Caleb Buhs, a spokesman for the agency that manages state buildings, said water coolers were introduced at the State Office Building after Flint flunked some drinking water standards that weren't related to lead.

Saving money should never be the goal when it comes to safe water. He is by no means innocent. Sounds like the emergency manager idea failed miserably.

So what if they were, they were still not elected by the residents of the city and did not answer to the voters. They answered only to the man who appointed them, the governor. Job security is non partisan. You do what the guy that hired you says you do.

The EPA is barely culpable in this and only for letting right wing nut jobs and their "phone, pen, Hitler" bullshit scare them into letting the state have their fucking way.
