I like the new renditions of Star Trek.

I just wish they'd stop fucking going BACKWARDS all the fucking time!!!

I'd like to see the FUTURE Star Trek Federation going to war with the Borg and Species 8472!!

We've had futue timelines in pretty much all the series'.......so they have their pick of any of them to branch off of!!!

in the trek novels they found the beings who accidentally created the Borg without realizing what they had become and those beings neutralized them.....

Ahh... just more Cos-playing. They find someone at an SF convention willing to work for booze money to guest star.

Trying to recreate the original series, by recasting the characters, is a fool's errand. The original chemistry of that cast can't be reproduced. (And by that Cast, I mean Shatner, Nimoy and Kelley, not the other day-players who've spent the last 40 years whining that Shatner was mean to them.)
