Israel is the occupying power or the Gaza Strip and Palestinian Territories which means it has an obligation and duty to protect the civilians under its occupation; it can not simultaneously occupy the territory and declare war upon it. The Jews of Israel thought Gaza posed no threat; now they know better. What's your excuse?

The problem with that really stupid statement is that Israel DOESN'T occupy Gaza. It removed all the Jewish settlers, often by force, and its military presence. Gaza is an independent country with an elected government (Hamas was elected in the one and only election held in Gaza back in 2006)

All the other killings were very likely teenagers taking part in violence against Israeli civilians or the IDF since the circumstances of their deaths weren't reported.
