Even if The Squad is voted out, they won’t go away. Ilhan Omar will end up on “The View.” CNN will fire Brian Stelter and give AOC his show. Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley will be panelists on the networks during election night coverage. They won’t go away quietly.

excerpts:

Tlaib is expected to hammer moderate Democrats who have stymied Biden’s social spending and climate change package

Tlaib will praise Biden’s stimulus bill and make the case that liberals have pushed aggressively for his agenda

She is also planning to argue that Republicans and a handful of intransigent Democrats have blocked progress on lowering the cost of housing, health care and prescription drugs.

Tlaib is expected to criticize some Democrats by name, and that likely means Manchin and Sinema. Another featured boogeyman might be Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), who led a small group of centrist Democrats who threatened to kill the budget unless the bipartisan infrastructure legislation first passed.

I wonder how long she'll be able to speak without calling somebody a motherfucker, the ghetto rat.

Excellent.

America NEEDS a couple of additional parties.

In this case, tucking the hyper-Left-Wing fruitcakes safely off-to-the-side lets the REAL Democratic Party focus on its core strengths.

Just like tucking the hyper-Right-Wing nutjobs safely off-to-the-side in a proto-Rumpian Party would let REAL Republicans do the same.

/——/ At the end of the day, the extremist vote for the party with the greatest chance of winning the election. The purpose of these splinter parties is to get a seat at the table of either of the two main parties.
