Tonight Tucker Carlson reported that one anonymous GOP Congresscritter when asked why Republicans dont stand up and support the President and stop these riots, he responded, 'This isn't the hill to die on.'

So I guess the Constitutional rights of black and brown people whose stores and businesses are burned to rubble, whose wives and daughters get raped, who have no place left to go buy their groceries and who never elected any of these seditious fools, they dont really matter after all when it gets right down to it. One side is gripping tight the dagger waiting for an opening to drive home the blade and usher in a new Age. The other side cowers in fear of social media mobs costing them their next elections and all the perks of power that come with holding office. One side does not want to rock the boat while the other is trying to tip it over. And the rest of us? We're caught in between, right beside our great President who is surrounded at all times by a gauntlet of thirsty blades. Well, you know what they say, "something's got to give". And something shall. Best we get it over with and then get back to the regularly scheduled programs of our lives.

If Trump were a smarter politician, he'd get out ahead of this, and propose some police reforms that all sides could agree to. He's not a smart politician, though. He thinks he can bully the protesters, but even the military is balking at going along with him.

There can be no peace without restitution from the past few decades also. Men and women who have abused people in any way must be held accountable. If it warrants prison for them, then so be it. Also no matter what economic status they are in, they must be made to pay. Let then move into smaller places and take away most of their luxuries if they did wrong. There are many people affected by just the police/corrections/judicial fiefdom alone. Removing retired powered per[s of their pensions and benefits or reducing them is justice. The worse part is some of them speak as you and did what you spout against. And religious people that have messed with people are not that much so.
