Sooooo.....fire up old Sparky?

Hah! Just stick a needle in his arm or shoot him. We can figure out all of that shit without him.
I was going to put a laugh reaction, but then I thought about his parents and his family.

What an excruciating thing to go through.

From what LITTLE I've read, they were pretty hard right.

This must also feel like some kind of huge betrayal.

It must have taken a lot for his dad to turn him in..Now he's got to deal with the fact that his son is an assassin. Big burden to carry on through life...

An understandable opinion.
It's a reasoned conclusion.

Many have written about how the mark of a civilized society is the commitment to the rule of law. The death penalty is part of that.

Plain and simple.

Recall our first parents raised a murderer.

They were faithful.

Satan is real.

Indeed, both Biblically and historically murder has always been met with the prosecution, condemnation and execution of the perpetrator as the final solution.

God is constrained by justice. He would save all his creations if he wasn't. He wasn't happy about the flood and he didn't do it out of anger. He had been calling on them for ages through his prophets.

But when justice requires the accounts be settled, they have to be settled.

That is the order of the universe.

Virginia's chair is around 120 years old.

This thread is why the death penalty should not be in place. Its mob justice. You kill someone a lot of people like, you're killed. You kill someone who people do not care about, you're alive. That isnt really an advanced society solution to me. I get the anger part which is why we dont let the offended chose the penalty.

Do the prison staff ever use the chair to fry up a bologna sandwich during their lunch break?
The armorer/executioner let me sit in it once at the old State Pen when they were getting ready to move the chair to Greenville.

LOL.....They were making a visiting room out of the old execution rooms.

"Oooh that smell, can't you smell that smell". ;)

Why is it legal to sentence someone for a crime they didn't commit?
