Remember: if it’s digital you will never own it no matter how much you paid. That’s why I collect hard copies of books and movies I enjoy. And with the rising wokeness cult expect many movies and books to erased in the coming days from access.

Sure. I was very shocked at Amazon actually sucking out of my Kindle library "When Harry Became Sally," that Canadian book on trannies. Fortunately I had read it once! It was excellent, of course: I learned that long ago, that the only books they censor or bowdlerize or ban are the best ones. The next books that I knew were at all controversial I got in hard copies, and will have to continue to do that rather than get digital copies that get cancelled.

I got my dvd library of movies at Goodwill. I collected older films that aren't chock full of profanities. When I was growing up, movies were full of good guys, hope, and happy endings. I bought a lot of those. If the profanity is intense, I just destroy the cd. They're not worth watching, and not passing it on to someone of weak character, which would be like passing porn so bad it's against the law. You should feel happy when you complete 90 minutes of being under someone else's spell. In my house, if they're all that bad, they go to the burn pile of weeds, and can't make anyone else feel forlorn, hopeless, or even suicidal. I guess we all have our personal feelings about the pursuit of happiness. Reading the bible makes me happiest, so I've been spending an hour at vespers listening to New Testament readings that recall the stories in accurate language without adding opinions that vary from badly far-fetched to goodly spoken. Time to go feed the pets and chickens. Have a great day.

Hard copies.

When, for the third time in a row, my Kindle died for no other reason than I hadn't used it in a month or so, I gave up.

Besides, I like the feel of real books in my hand and when Kristi Noem is elected President, I will have my signed copy of her book to treasure.

National Socialists taught us long ago, books are dangerous.

Well in all fairness it had nothing to do with wokeness or anything.

“As of August 31, 2022, due to our evolving licensing agreements with content providers, you will no longer be able to view your previously purchased Studio Canal content and it will be removed from your video library,”

It's a licensing deal is all it is. Sonys license probably ran out and someone else picked it up for a price higher than sony was willing to pay for it. Or they simply got cut out of the deal for whatever reason.

But yes most definitely digital is never guaranteed to be around. It's the nature of the beast. It's convenient, but flimsy.
