What's a song that you just connect to personally? Maybe it's associated with something you went through, maybe it describes a season of your life, or maybe it describes your philosophy and outlook on life. Music is beautiful and special, it's a wonderful way of expressing ourselves.

This song for me was significant during the time where I had just lost my stepdad, now almost a decade ago. It was my anthem for a time, a bittersweet reminder that even though I had gone to hell and back in the span of a few years I still had my whole life ahead of me and it would get better.


This one for me described for so long, my relationship with my mother. Having spent my teen years being emotionally and verbally abused in a dysfunctional family.

The voice/lyrics tell a very deep story.... I get the chills every time.
