I.e., they have symbolism which could imply much deeper meanings than of which a casual observer who is ignorant of the symbols used by secret societies is aware.

^ That song's title ^ could mean something poignant to someone familiar with the esoteric sayings of Freemasonry.

Are you serious?

Like I said in the OP, homie: could be — i.e. not necessarily are.

Am just havin' some fun is all.

You're familiar some of the symbolism of secret societies, yes?

I don't think any of those songs are about secret societies, but what kind of weed are you smoking? I'd like to get some.

"Ride a painted pony, let the spinnin' wheel turn."

Again I say: COULD BE.

Hermeticism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"As above, so below"

These words circulate throughout occult and magical circles. They are recorded in Hermetic texts, although they originated in the Vedas.[citation needed]

The actual text of that maxim, as translated by Dennis W. Hauck from The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus, is: "That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracle of the One Thing."[31] Thus, whatever happens on any level of reality (physical, emotional, or mental) also happens on every other level.

This principle, however, is more often used in the sense of the microcosm and the macrocosm. The microcosm is oneself, and the macrocosm is the universe. The macrocosm is as the microcosm and vice versa; within each lies the other, and through understanding one (usually the microcosm) a man may understand the other.
