Zone1 Some people... even if they see someone raised from the dead, will not believe!!

Good catch. I'd forgotten about these. I guess I need to reread the Book of Acts. It's been awhile
The real question is why did Christians STOP raising people from the dead? The apostles wanted to show people their powerful God, don't we need that demonstration today?

We don't live the lives of the apostles or Jesus anymore.

For all the professing of Christ, and that's a good thing, what percentage REALLY follow Christ as they did?

And Jesus, SPEAKING TO THE FIRST CENTURY APOSTLES, said THEY would do these great miracles. Did He ever say WE would, 2,000 years later?

irrelevant to the point made in OP
Here's the problem with your religion stories. They don't pass the scientific test

1. Question authority. No idea is true just because someone says so.

2. Think for yourself. Question yourself. Don't believe anything just because you want to. Believing something doesn't make it so.

3. Test ideas by the evidence gained from observation and experiment. If a favorite idea fails a well-designed test, it's wrong. Get over it.

4. Follow the evidence wherever it leads. If you have no evidence, reserve judgment.

And perhaps the most important rule of all...
5. Remember: you could be wrong. Even the best scientists have been wrong about some things. Newton, Einstein, and every other great scientist in history -- they all made mistakes. Of course they did. They were human.

Science is a way to keep from fooling ourselves, and each other.”

I refer to St Luke 16:19

The Parable of he Rich Man and the Poor Man

The poor man was VERY poor... a homeless beggar

The rich man walked by him a lot of the time and gave him nothing.

the rich man went to Hell (see Mt 25:31...) and the poor one went to Abraham's bosom

The rich man in Hell was thirsty and begged the poor man to give him a drop of water but was told (by Abraham?) that there is a great divide btwn those 2 places and no one can go from one side to the other

The rich man pleaded for his brothers still on Earth, said that if the poor man returned from the dead, they would listen to him

But Abraham said that "They have the prophets. If they will not listen to the prophets, they will not listen even were one to return from the dead"
Means nothing. It hasn't been tried.
