Four Shocking Lockdown Statistics
The video clip below from earlier in the week almost slipped past. That would have been a shame, because without knowing these shocking Wuhan coronavirus lockdown statistics, people might imagine that the disease itself is anywhere near as bad as the authoritarian overreaction to it:
1. Fifty-five percent of businesses forced to shut down between 3/1 and 7/10 due to mandatory lockdowns are not coming back.
2. Over 200,000 Britons are expected to die as a result of government-mandated lockdowns, equating to nearly 1 million life-years. Normally only communist regimes kill their own people on this scale.
3. According to Stanford epidemiologist Scott Atlas, the lockdowns will cause more years of life lost than the virus itself also in the USA (nearly twice as many).
4. According to the UN, 10,000 children around the world are dying every month due to the economic devastation caused by the lockdowns.
There is a one-word response to moonbats who squawk that more people would have died of the disease if not for the lockdowns: Sweden.
As when local tyrants Andrew Cuomo, Gretchen Whitmer, and Rachel Levine killed thousands by seeding nursing homes with COVID-19 patients, the pandemic has introduced us to a gray zone between extreme incompetence and genocide.
