There are black universities, designated as such, but they do allow whites to attend - although they are rare. Howard University, the most preeminent black university, is 1% white.

There are no designated white universities. Looking at the most prominent universities in general, Harvard is 14% black and Yale is 12% black.

Yes, that what it is. Blacks sometimes choose to segregate.

When I was in college, we had all sorts of black clubs, black dances, and such - and named as such. There were no equivalent white groups, and if there were, they would have been shut down as racist.

I once made the mistake of walking into a dance at college, only to be stopped at the door and firmly told that the dance was for blacks. I of course left.

So one of the things of concern that came after Trump pardoned the thousands of January 6th rioters whom had been convicted or had accepted a plea deal is that many people felt that Trump now has at his disposal a group of violent supporters, who had already shown that they were willing to violate the law for him but who are now beholden to him due to the pardons. The concern is that they would now not hesitate to do his bidding even if it involves getting violent or rather more violent than what we observed at the U.S. Capitol.

I understand that while some of his supporters will claim my assessment to be fake news, I've already logged multiple threats posted on this very message board against "the left", "democrats" and a sundry of other specific individuals.

So while I didn't expect this to play out with threats and attacks on HBCUs I'm not actually surprised by it. Afterall, nothing has changed other than things are starting to deteriorate a bit more rapidly than anticipated, with Charlie Kirk's death being a flashpoint.

If you don't mind too much, I'll delay my outrage pending the almost inevitible discovery of this being a left-perpetuated hoax, as happens with nearly every anti-black threat of this kind.

The pushback is not coming because of differing opinions, political or otherwise. It's happening because this administration is ACTIVELY dismantling the lives of 100s of millions of Americans. This is not happening because of disagreements.

This is how the left twists logic to justify violence in answer to political disagreements. Disagreements lead to changes in policy when one opinion wins in the marketplace of ideas. That's how a democratic republic is supposed to work.

You are trying to convince us that changes in policy brought about by that method justifies violence.

Also, while the OP would like to show that Trump is hurting black universities (because he’s a racist, doncha know), the facts are otherwise. With tens of millions of middle class students struggling to pay for a college education, Trump directed $500 million SPECIFICALLY to black colleges. What a racist he is!

Then again I would suggest it takes far more than simple residency or even citizenship to make one an AMERICAN. It’s about loyalty, ideology, and values as well as how one lives their life.

I toured East Germany as a soldier stationed in Frankfurt. They took us to the shopping district for foreigners and showed us exactly which restaurant to eat at.* They left the bottom of the bus wide open for us to drop off shoping bags and continue on. They said no one would steal our stuff. In fact, no one would go near our bus, knowing it was closely watched by STASI.

*Decent, but standard German food. One difference, they had only cucumber salad, which was literally a plate of sliced cucumbers with a vinagarette/Italian type dressing. Not bad, but I'd never had a one-ingredient salad.

There is an obsession with blackness among blacks, you can be sure.
But you don’t really believe these schools don’t have black student associations, do you? That’s segregation.
