Solar is the best overall energy source by far.

We're making a giant magnifying glass 10 times more powerful than all the nuclear plants ever built. If you say that in a room full of energy company CEOs all their head will explode.
??? Yet, to make something so big and so powerful you would have to buy the energy from those ceo's you claim, would explode. Last I checked, when you increase your use of a ceo's product the ceo makes more money. Your opinions really have no relationship with reality.

And that case I won't tell you about my secret laser invention.

Especially in the Sahara desert.
Do that and:
  1. All the panels get covered with sand by blowing wind.
  2. All the energy going into the desert goes into the panels instead, changing global weather.
  3. As soon as all electricity comes from the Sahara, Saharan governments claim ownership and monopolize pricing.
The best source of energy for us is actually nuclear fusion, as soon as that technology becomes viable.

What are we to do with all this energy in the desert? ... wouldn't it be better to put solar panels near, or on, our homes and businesses? ... not sure we can put up terrorist-proof transmission lines through a thousand miles of ISIS controlled territory ... better to put small nuclear reactors in every neighborhood of Gaza City I would think ...

Has anyone pointed out the ecological impact of mining all the minerals needed to make and maintain all these panels? Much less the losses in trying to transmit that power from the Sahara around the world. Far better to put the panels near the individual loads, but then you have the problem of cloudy weather, nighttime, conversion to DC for battery storage and the impact of making all those batteries.

There are no free lunches.

Fossil-fuel shills always use the glass is half empty outlook on alternative energy sources..... doesn't matter what it is ....... solar, wind, geothermal, tidal, biofuels, high speed rail, electric cars, ....... they're also usually Americans and they also usually leave out the fact that the US military is the single largest consumer of fossil fuels on the planet.

One crappy product from one company doesn't mean they all are.
Yeah, it kind of does. That one is from Philadelphia.

I wonder how many federal taxpayer dollars went to buy those things?

To the far-left, everyone is owed a free lunch!

But we gave them so much.....casinos, basketball , music , a bunch of churches for free food on Sunday...... God damn. wtf do those peasants want .....nationalized drug companies ? Free car every Halloween. ....why not a home by the sea for everyone over 40?

Of course last but not least a moratorium on eviction notices during a pandemic. What could be more gracious?

I've looked for free lunches all over the universe, from physics to optics, to mathematics, to diet, to climate and the only free lunch I've ever found is the free lunch continuously afforded the Left to say and do stupid things, lie and cheat, so far with impunity.

But I get the feeling that bridge has been burned now.

and there it is, all we get are poor quips of humor dicating that solar, wind, geothermal, tidal, biofuels are the future. Proof everywhere that all green energy fails, is ignored. Sad is the democrats and it will be fight to defeat the democrats destruction of the earth as well as the people on it

Assuming to.
Not very endearing characteristics for someone who claims to be so smart.
Well, educate us on you favorite Geothermal plant. Tell us of it's profits? Tell us who built it. How long it has operated. List the companies involved. Tell us of the technology at use. My claim has been, you know nothing. You are repeating vague opinions you have heard elsewhere. Nothing more. I am simply pointing out, that no matter how much your are insulted, challenged, and goaded, you can not quickly reply with facts that formed your opinion because your opinion was never formed by facts in regards to geothermal or any other source of "green energy".

You're an obvious fossil-fuel troll.

I will admit, to trolling your posts, attempting to get you to show us any sort of fact that will support your unsubstantiated opinions.

I think your dodging the questions show you have no knowledge of green renewable energy other than, "headlines".

Troll, I see that you are much more of a troll than I, your quickness to accuse others of what you practice, makes you...
