I knew Austria wouldn't beat the world champions Argentina with Messi anyway, but Austria fought well. Now we need to beat Algeria to reach the round of 16. I think we can do it. I'm not disappointed; it was Argentina.

I would hope the coach did not overthink this. It's not like the team has a proud winning history of world cup titles. That game reminds me of many other games.

You’re absolutely correct and he so seriously overthought it that he probably cost them any chance to beat Bosnia next Wednesday.

His contract is up this fall and I don’t want it renewed. This is the World Cuo, there’s no “everyone must play one game” rule.

I was waiting for this red herring…

1. Replace the 4 yellow cards. Fine. Not 82% of your starting lineup.
2. If Pulisic can’t go 90 minutes he shouldn’t be active for the game.
3. I kept hearing how we had such great depth that the reserves could start.
