Soccer World Cup 2026 in Canada, USA, Mexico

It's killing me watching Portugal, this team has one goal: Get the ball to Ronaldo near the goal. Having your entire team schemed to helping one player score goals is hurting their offense. They only scored on a breakaway if I remember, nothing going on near the net today, 1-1 draw.

Rashford, Bellingham, and Kane (2) all score against Croatia

It's fun to watch the fans of some teams go absolutely nuts. And I'm pleased to see so many fans from around the world enjoy their time in the US. Boston has LOTS of bars, and they are making bank.

The Scots are making Boston bars run out of Samuel Adams lager.

Against Austria?!? - Messi can take a rest in the VIP lounge - they don't need to waste his energy on that game.

BTW: - ”Vamos Argentina, a por la cuarta estrella!

Game ended as expected and Messi sure made his presence known

The Czech - South Africa game had a woman referee and she's a cutie with a cute bum wiggle What??? I'm a man and I tend to notice these things!!!

And Ronaldo in comparison to Messi, is known to have weak nerves and giving away to emotions instead of hitting the ball in a exploiting and concentrated manner.

Ronaldo in his prime was a set piece artist, he was also very good and getting to the right spot at the right time and finishing with quality, reminds me of Harry Kane recently, although Harry Kane blocked a shot yesterday, Ronaldo doesn’t even know where his 18 yard box is

15th post
USMNT making a pretty good showing after their first 2 games…

2 wins.
6 goals scored.
3 different goal scorers.
+5 goal differential.

Group D Winner - 3rd time in US history
First time ever winning group before third game
First time winning multiple games in group Stage
Most goals scored by a USMNT in group stage
Most points acquired by a USMNT in group stage
Tied for least goals given up by USMNT in a group stage (1game remaining)

I have to say that the crowd in Seattle yesterday lived up to their 12tg Man reputation and did every US fan proud. They were loud, they knew when to cheer, and they were (almost) all rooting for the USA.

Not a bad performance in their second game considering that their best player wasn’t in.

But they’re going to need him in the next round.

I agree. They are going to need Pulisic in the knock-out round. That’s part of why it’s so nicectgry don’t ā€œneedā€him versus Turkiye next Thursday.

I think you’ll see more of the second team… Reyna, Aaronsson, Haji, etc… which is nice because it will get them more involved in case they’re needed in the later games.

I’m feeling they can win at least one game at the knockout level. Two would get them to match the best level they’ve ever made in a World Cup.

That would be nice.

They have the home field advantage and this is the best I’ve seen them play in the world cup.

I agree with getting the backups some playing time.
