Cindy Sheehan's radical anti-war protesters were all over the place during Bush's last term right up to the election hanging effigies of the president and camping on his property and they suddenly disappeared immediately after Obama was elected. Nothing changed, US forces were still in combat in Afghanistan (as they are today) but Sheehan's radicals didn't care. They faded away because they got what they wanted, a socialist president.

Random outlier events do not disprove a general condition: the Left is largely silent regarding Obama's Wars.

The six month period following the attacks on September 11, 2001 that got passed Bush and Cheney should be a pertinent baseline for measuring US extreme far left anti-war sentiment. I define that sentiment as strong opwn opposition to the use of military force anywhere for any reason. Aka Code Pink and followers of the libertarian driven website Antiwar.com.

My guess is that extreme anti-war sentiment did not exceed 5% of the adult US population in the aftermath of the devastating terror attacks on US soil on Bush/Cheney's watch.

We all know Bush launched the war on terror WOT into Afghanistan with virtually no public opposition to it in 2002.

My contention for you is that opposition to the same war WOT in Afghanistan is now considerably more open and outward under Obama than it was under Bush.
