You're referring to a time when humanity discerned truth from a Bible full of contradictions. The people who enlightened us on the nature of gravity, which many people still think of as a force that attracts two objects with mass but is in actuality the curvature of spacetime, were physicists. Learned individuals who devoted their lives to understanding, not repression. Same too with gender and even sex. The people leading the understanding of these concepts are doctors and biologists. For instance nature isn't all binary. It's fairly consistent but it isn't perfect, so we don't just have males and females, we have intersex individuals that may appear male or female on the outside but have different chromosomes or different internal sex organs. Studies of the brains of people diagnosed as transgendered show that their brain chemistry more closely resembles the brain chemistry of the gender they identify with. Your Bible can't help you understand these natural phenomenon because it was written by ignorant twats. The people who could help you understand are the biologists who are actually studying trans individuals, the doctors who treat the intersexed. Don't be afraid of new information you coward.
