So Trump, who do you want to fire?

Someone explain to me, how listing the things I achieved during last week, is a means of evaluating my overall performance? What if I was on vacation that week? What if I was doing menial tasks after working on an intense critical project and working 60 hrs/week for the previous three months?

Isn't it interesting to see that only the trumpanzees are struggling with basic logic.
Basic logic, or any logic at all for that matter, isn't a MAGAT's strong suit.

Even if i did, I dont see anything wrong with it.
Find a job in the private sector. Its a waste for all these useless jobs when they arent needed.
What you don't seem to understand is that the jobs ARE needed. Forest districts are typically understaffed as it is.
A South African, urbanite, elitist billionaire and his geek squad sitting in Washington D.C. have no earthly idea what the situation is on the ground in a forest in the mountain west....or anywhere else for that matter. That is why this whole DOGE massacre of our government reeks of incompetence.....par for the course for an administration like Trump's, a six time bankrupt convicted felon con-man.

Most forestry employees put the work, time, and expense into getting degrees in forestry in order to (naturally) work in The Forest Service in some capacity. It is a goal, and a dream for most of them. Their passion.
To say "just go get a job in the private sector" isn't realistic at all. These small communities don't have many "other jobs" (either do our larger cities) and even if they do they aren't good paying jobs and they aren't what these people have trained for.

This story though is just emblematic of what is now going on ALL across the country in towns and communities. The ripple effect through the economy is most likely going to be devastating on both micro and macro levels.
In fact most economists are already warning that these DOGE cuts are going to lead to a major recession.....possibly even another depression!

That's not how to evaluate a person's performance though.

What if they are on vacation and haven't seen the email yet? What if they don't respond because Patel told them not to?

Is that a test you regularly get subjected to?

That's not how to evaluate a person's performance though.

If your performance is awesome at an unnecessary job, maybe your job should go away?

What if they are on vacation and haven't seen the email yet?

That would be tragic.

What if they don't respond because Patel told them not to?

Sounds like they have a good excuse.

This is MUSKS Third country, he gathers more money & then moves on
what country's next.
Does he fit the bill of an American?

Fact is, the DOGE team does not either.

If you think they understand the roles and responsibilities of those fired, do feel free to explain why.
You very well could be correct on this.

It matters little.

The administrative branch is the purview of the executive branch.

Until, and unless, the administrative branch can be proved in court to be in some violation of some law. . .

:dunno:

". . Mr. Obama was later quoted as telling GOP leaders that “elections have consequences,” and, in case there was any doubt, “I won.”

Then they should move. It isnt the fed govs job to keep people employed who live in bumfuck egypt.
And i damn sure shouldnt have to pay for people to not do a damn thing.
Who needs 4 or 5 people overlooking a couple thousand acres of grazing land?
I hate it for the people losing their job, but they shouldnt be depending on non important jobs. Well at least until now. Lol

Another story illustrating the local effect of President Musk's brainless, indiscriminate wrecking of the federal work force.
"So what," you may say.
"Who gives a shit about a national park? I'm probably never going to see it anyway."
And therein lies the problem with MAGAt (and Republican) logic.
It's always "well, as long as it's only messing with someone else it's really not MY problem."
For now.
But these little stories....over and over....multiplied by thousands of little, individual examples eventually becomes a BIG national crisis.

Tourists hoping to see Carlsbad Caverns National Park during its peak season in March may find that more challenging these days, potentially impacting the local economy.
The federal government laid off 14 out of 25 seasonal interpreter rangers — who lead tours of the caverns, man the information desk and sell tickets — according to a terminated employee who said Carlsbad Caverns may struggle to continue operation.
Additionally, 11 out of 14 seasonal workers were laid off, which may cause a concern during the cavern’s peak season, the person told the Journal
.

Musks Chain Saw cuts people whether they are needed or not.

Want to replace those who were unnecessarily cut?
You will start with inexperienced people taking over for those who know the job.

After Trumps rampage, why would anyone accept a job in the Federal Government?

I'll bet you agreed with Paul Krugman when he said the internet was a "fad" and no one would want to work for tech companies after the dotcom layoffs in the mid-2000s.

Stick with your fellow Russians on this, you're not qualified to comment.

I have faith they will work it out

Ok, just remember your own advice very soon when you yourself are forced to move because you are unable to remain where you are because Musk/Trump have crashed the economy.
And i damn sure shouldnt have to pay for people to not do a damn thing.
You'd rather pay for Elon's third yacht huh?
Who needs 4 or 5 people overlooking a couple thousand acres of grazing land?
You obviously know nothing about land management in the west.
I hate it for the people losing their job,
No you don't.
but they shouldnt be depending on non important jobs. Well at least until now. Lol
Just remember that when your own occupation becomes "non important."
I know you probably think these guys Musk/Trump are somehow your "friends."
They aren't.
YOU could very well be next.

because Musk/Trump have crashed the economy.
moonbat
You'd rather pay for Elon's third yacht huh?
im not paying for shit for him. Neither are you.
You obviously know nothing about land management in the west.
yeah i need a degree to know how many people it takes to oversee grazing land.
No you don't.
Sure i do. I hate it for the people, I love it for the government.
