Why would Trump “want Venezuela’s oil”? Trump doesn’t crave oil. It seems to me he is trying to rectify the situation where American oil companies were robbed of their investments in Venezuelan oil. I don’t have a problem with that effort, even though I think companies that invest in foreign countries should accept the risk of a loss when said counties experience political instability.

When did they steal "our" oil? Are you talking about oil that's in Venezuelan territory? Or are you talking about a private corporation's oil. In what way does it belong to Trump and the U.S. Military?
