This in no way validates the OP because you’re comparing apples to oranges. Bill was falsely accused of rape by Republicans when there is no evidence that he ever raped anyone, Anita Broadderick’s coerced charges notwithstanding.

Roy Moore quite openly dated high school girls. People noted his predilection to dating high school girls. They thought it “creepy”. And those were people who worked for him and with him.

So you’re comparing wholly made up charges against Bill Clinton and saying they’re the same thing as multiple creditable accusations of “creepy” behaviour with underage girls, against a guy who has also lied to the IRS, created a dummy charity and then skimmed all of the donations as his “salary”, and has consistently refused to abide by the Constitution by disregarding Court Orders.

Why do some men insist on humiliating their sex by defending bad conduct? These same guys blame "feminists," but they are the ones shooting themselves in the foot by defending those among them who do these sorts of things, showing a total lack of moral standards.

They defend this behaviour because the don’t believe the victims. When women come forward with their stories, they refuse to believe it without evidence. There’s seldom any evidence of abuse or harassment.

But when 5 women come forward with the same story, with nothing to gain in its telling, refusal to believe there’s a problem is indicative of an attitude that women lie, make stuff up, or are only looking for a big payday.

It shows disrespect for the victims, but sexual harassment, groping, grabbing them by the *****, and thinking you have the right to do so isn’t indicative of respect for women in the first place.

The same guys who defend Roy Moore, are the guys who call Weinsteins victims “whores” for going along with what it took to get the job and not have your career ended, at a time when they had no power to do otherwise.
