So sad...

I remember it like it was yesterday...My grandmother was in the hospital, and the prognosis was not good. She'd had a massive stroke, and was on a ventilator in NICU. The neurologist came out with the bad news, she was brain dead.

"How sad, " I said, "We've never had a Republican in the family before.."

What's even sader is that I laughed.
